Anti-Ragging Cell

The College has established an Anti-Ragging Cell led by the Principal, in accordance with UGC guidelines. Our primary objective is to uphold academic excellence while fostering a nurturing atmosphere where every student can flourish without fear of harassment or intimidation.

Our specific Objectives and Activities include:

1.    Zero-tolerance Policy: We are committed to maintaining a zero-tolerance stance against ragging in any form. Our objective is to eliminate this harmful practice entirely from our campus.

2.    Awareness and Education: The Principal personally educates both incoming and senior students annually about the college's anti-ragging policies. Our aim is to ensure that every member of our community understands the gravity of ragging and their role in preventing it.

3.   Collaborative Campaigns: We collaborate with our NSS Unit to organize an annual Anti-ragging Campaign. This initiative aims to engage both new and senior students, as well as their guardians, in discussions and activities focused on eradicating ragging.

4.   Vigilant Monitoring: The Anti-ragging Cell works closely with departments and the Students' Council to monitor students vigilantly and promptly report any untoward incidents. Our objective is to ensure swift and appropriate action in response to any instances of ragging.

By implementing these aims and objectives, we strive to create a campus environment where all individuals feel safe, respected, and able to fully engage in their academic pursuits.
